About the Role:

As a Junior Business Controller, you’ll play a vital role within our Finance team, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, monitoring transactions, and improving our payment workflows. This is a hands-on position where your analytical skills and financial expertise will directly impact our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Control: Support the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of business control activities.

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Month-End Closing: Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processes.

• Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations between bank accounts and various Payment Service Providers (PSPs).

• Cash Flow Management: Assist in monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure liquidity.

• Seamless Payments Flow: Support the execution of payments to merchants.

• Daily Support: Help the Finance team with various ad hoc tasks and daily challenges.

• Process Improvements: Help identify inefficiencies and streamline financial processes.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of working experience within financial services.

• An academic degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience in the industry).

• Strong background in business controlling and financial analysis.

• Proficiency in Excel and G Suite tools.

• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues when needed.

• Fluency in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

• Preferred: Experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
